Soft and warming, with vanilla, chai, toffee apple and a low note of cacao.
Lightly is the word we mean. The spice here doesn't shout, it hums gently under the rum while cacao sits low and velvety beneath. Vanilla and toffee apple lead, chai warms the middle, and a soft clove note lifts the edges without ever tipping into heat. A spiced rum for people who usually find spiced rum too much.
That warm golden colour comes from cacao husks, the shells left over when chocolate is made. We take them from independent fair trade chocolatiers around the UK, so a byproduct that would otherwise be thrown away becomes colour and quiet depth in the glass. Nothing wasted, and made from scratch in Devon.
