Bought my first bottle after the Hairy Bikers Programme promoting and extoling it. This is my umpteenth bottle, so must be good.
I first bought this rum when we were visiting Exeter last year. We popped into the distillery as it was nearby, we had a warm greeting and were shown the full range of their products and even given a taste. I chose the over proof spiced rum and was even given advice on the best mixer to go with it. This is a cracking rum and I really enjoyed drinking it hence ordering some more. I would thoroughly recommend it.
I’ve bought several bottles of this rum now. It never disappoints. Love the pineapple and caramel taste. Be careful how much you add to your glass though as too much will spoil the flavour in my opinion. Brilliant mixed with Coke and a couple of cubes of ice. Perfect shared with friends and family on the patio in summer or as a winter warmer in front of the log burner. It’s a great accompaniment on fishing trips too!
